This place was great. I decided to try this place on a day when I was VERY hungry because I had skipped breakfast. So I was hoping that it didn’t disappoint. Brooklyn South Pizza, exceeded my expectations! I had the 7.99 lunch special; which gives you any two slices of pizza & a can soft drink. I chose the Margherita & Buffalo Chicken slices, great flavor and the crust was just right. I highly recommend this spot.
Another fantastic authentic NY Style Thin Crust Pizza place. Order at the front counter. For dine in, there are 5 or 6 four top, self serve tables. Estimated wait given was 35 minutes for a Large Cheese Pie, not an issue based on volume of to-go orders. Garlic Knots came out in a few minutes to hold us over. Pizza was fantastic. True authentic, New York Style thin crust pizza. Sauce was flavorful and properly seasoned with spices/herbs. Cheese was delicious and that bite of what proper pizza cheese should taste like. Based on the quality of the pizza, anything should be good on the menu. Clean pizzeria atmosphere. Would 100% return. Well done.
Their pizza is incredible. The attached photos are of a small pie with extra cheese and half pepperoni. With some pizzerias, when you ask for extra cheese, sometimes you can hardly tell there is any extra on it. Not at Brooklyn South! I got exactly what I paid for and it was delicious. My only negative about the place is that the dining tables are often dirty from previous customers, but that certainly won't deter me from eating there again. Fantastic pizza and fantastic customer service!
Great place . I’m from queens New York I’m used to New York style pizza came in town for a work trip seem this place on tik tok decided to pop over . Do not regret it I highly recommend it staff is friendly food was great pizza was perfect pasta was great !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Clean kitchen! They use Boarshead meat. Actual adult staff (not teens like many pizza places). And really good New York pizza! Simple indoor seating. Family friendly menu.
Had their Cheese Pizza. I've had pizza from countless restaurants throughout my life, here in SC. Not usually one for just cheese pizza, but this pizza was by FAR the best one I've ever had, since visiting Italy & Sicily as a teen. EXCELLENT quality & taste, highly recommend! P.S.: I'm Half Sicilian, don't know if that helps solidify my review
Just tried Brooklyn South in Summerville, ordered 2 different salads and garlic knots and all were delicious! The salad was packed with meats and cheeses and greens not just shredded lettuce. Great food will be ordering again.
We eat here all the time. Tonight due to no fault of their own a customer took my call in order by mistake. They apologized multiple times, remade my order up sized it no extra charge and had me out the door in less than 10 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this place. The fact that you can get authentic new york pizza in south carolina is nothing short of amazing.
